A Father & Son
Operation.
Brandstatter Powder Coating is a father-and-son business operating out of a warehouse in Hennepin, Illinois. We've been coating since 2016, offering both sandblasting and powder coating services under one roof.
We specialize in smaller parts for cars and bikes, but we can also handle lawn ornaments, patio furniture, signs — anything metal. Our color range is huge, with an endless variety of textures, illusions, and translucents available. All our powders are sourced from Columbia Coatings and Prismatic Powders — two of the most trusted names in the industry.
Every job is handled in-house from start to finish. Parts are prepped, blasted when needed, coated with your choice of color and finish, then cured in our 5' × 6' oven for a durable, long-lasting result. Whether you're restoring something classic or building something new, we take the time to do it right.

Stripped
To Bare Metal.
Before any coating goes on, the surface has to be perfect. Sandblasting removes rust, old paint, scale, and years of grime — leaving clean, profiled metal that powder bonds to like it was always meant to.

From Bare Metal
To Bulletproof.
Every job goes through the same four stages. Skip one and the coating fails — nail them all and it outlasts the part.
Prep & Strip
Old paint, rust, and contaminants are removed. Clean bare metal is the foundation of every lasting coat.
Blast & Clean
Media blasting profiles the surface so the coating binds tight. Parts are then degreased and handled with clean gloves.
Powder Application
Electrostatic spray guns apply the powder evenly across every surface — inside corners, tight spaces, all of it.
Cure in the Oven
Parts bake in our 5' × 6' curing oven. The powder flows out and chemically bonds to the metal for a finish that won't chip or fade.
The difference between a good coat and a great one is in the prep — and we don't cut corners on either.
